Kid Kart Honda
The new Honda GX50 engine was introduced last year, and has taken the USA Kid Kart category by storm. The engine has a low entry price, and a predicted 100+ hours of reliable operation. The engine is sealed direct from Honda, with no internal modifications allowed, providing a fair playing field so racers can focus on driving improvement instead of buying more horsepower.
Shifter
PKRA has fostered some of the Nations Top Shifter Kart Pilots. Shifter Karts are exciting, and action packed. If you are familiar with motocross bikes, you will be right at home working with the Stock Honda CR125 engines utilized in this category today. CR125 Engines provide an economical engine for this category, and class growth is back on the rise.
World Formula & 206
Briggs and Stratton is an American Icon in Small Engine Powersports. The World Formula category is one of the most popular at PKRA due to low entry price, and ease of use.
TAG and TAG Cadet
This category uses the Vortex MiniROK Engine. It is the fastest growing cadet class in the USA, with a total sell-out history at the annual SuperKartsUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas. The 60cc air-cooled 2-cycle engine is easy to tune, self starting, and extremely equal from engine to engine. This category is for drivers 8-12 years of age. less
