After the announcement, one parent went to KAM’s facebook and had this to said, “KAM has definitely made Zoie the racer she is today, with the fiercest competitors and best race surface she has learned so much!! Thanks Kelley and Mike for what y'all thrive to provide us with.” ~ Mallory Pierce

Referring to Zoie Pierce who won the Pure Stock Track Championship Title this year in a class of over 24 registered drivers. Zoie, along with Outlaw 250 Class Champion Pierce Urbanosky, was also featured on an episode of Chevy Hometown Kids that airs on the Fox Sports Southwest Network.

KAM Kartway was built in 2004 as a 1/8th mile dirt oval kart racing track. Owners Mike & Kelley Engstrom have been in the Karting Industry for 20 years and also own KAM Motorsports (www.kammotorsports.com) – a full service kart shop serving the North Texas karting community. The track has grown from an average kart count of 15 to over 50 in the past 10 years thanks to the growing trend of Grassroots racing. There are over 100 YouTube videos featuring KAM drivers so anyone searching for dirt racing is bound to come across one of them and learn about “Outlaw Karting”.

“This is such an honor and it's only due to the amazing racing families, drivers, sponsors & spectators at KAM Kartway that we are even on the list,” said Kelley Engstrom. “We are definitely in good company – just look at the list,” adds Mike Engstrom.

KAM Kartway is a known as a race track for those who aspire to be professional race car drivers and prides itself on the Driver Development status it has attained over the years. KAM drivers are recognized for good sportsmanship qualities and fierce competition, and their reputations influence goes far beyond the DFW area, or even North Texas. Tracks from down south all the way to South Dakota have listed KAM Drivers among their roster of winners.

“Our drivers have National Championship Titles from all over including Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Tennessee. Our daughter, Kaley along with 4 other KAM Drivers - have won the prestigious honors of “Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals Champion” over a 4 year span,” said Kelley, adding that “the Knoxville Nationals is a goal of many of our racers who want to end up driving Sprint Cars when they get older.”
